Chapters & Associations

Below is a list of the chapters & associations and a description of each one. Click on the name of the chapter or associaton to visit its home page.  To be included in the membership directory for any of these open chapters or associations, visit your "My Groups" page.

Some groups are "private" and are noted as such. These require membership approval in order to view the home page and interact with its members. Visit your "My Groups" page to submit a membership request to join a private chapter or association.

Click the "Submit Chapter or Association" button to submit a new Subgroup for administrator approval.

Arizona Alumni Chapter
Description: The Arizona Chapter was founded in 1999. It attracts alumni from greater Phoenix, Tucson, and Sedona.
 
Chicago Alumni Chapter
Description: Founded in December 1987, the Chicago Chapter is one of the oldest chapters in the program. It covers the greater Chicago area. The chapter holds an average of four events each year.
 
Cincinnati Alumni Chapter
Description: The Cincinnati Chapter was founded in May 1988. In early years the Cincinnati Chapter won a national CWRU Best Chapter event contest.
 
Cleveland Alumni
Description:There are 29,401 alumni in the greater Cleveland area.
 
Colorado Alumni Chapter
Description: The Colorado Chapter was established in April 1994. It is based in Denver, although it covers the entire state.
 
Columbus Alumni Chapter
Description: The Columbus Chapter was established in July 1989 and covers the greater Columbus area.
 
Dallas Alumni Chapter

Detroit Alumni Chapter
Description: Established in May 1989, the Detriot ~ Southeast Michigan Chapter includes the areas of Saginaw, Lansing, Jackson, Detroit, Royal Oaks, and Flint.
 
Florida Alumni

Georgia Alumni Chapter
Description:The University’s newest alumni chapter was established in April 1997. It is based in Atlanta.
 
Houston Alumni Chapter
Description:Formed in December 1989, the Houston Chapter covers the greater Houston area. The chapter is commited to student recruitment for the University.
 
Japan Alumni Chapter
Description:The Japan Chapter was formed in July 2001. The chapter covers the entire country of Japan.
 
Los Angeles Alumni Chapter
Description:Established in February 1989. The chapter’s most successful event is the annual Hollywood Bowl Concert & Fireworks.
 
Malaysia Alumni Chapter

Minnesota Alumni Chapter
Description:The Minnesota Chapter is among the youngest chapters of the University, founded in February 1996. It is based in Minneapolis/St. Paul.
 
New England Alumni Chapter
Description: Founded in 1990, the New England Chapter includes alumni that reside within a 50 mile radius of Boston.
 
New York Alumni Association
Description: The association is the oldest alumni organization of the University. Formed in 1916, it covers the greater New York metropolitan area.
 
Philadelphia Alumni Chapter
Description: This chapter was founded in January 1989. Among the chapter’s accomplishments is the creation of a scholarship for graduating seniors from the Philadelphia area.
 
Pittsburgh Alumni Chapter
Description: The Pittsburgh Chapter was formed in January 1988 and sponsors three to five events every year.
 
San Diego Alumni Chapter
Description: San Diego is one of the oldest regional chapters, established in December 1987, and covers the greater San Diego area.
 
San Francisco Alumni Chapter
Description: This chapter was formed in January 1988 and includes San Jose, Oakland, and North Bay areas. The chapter organizes several events each year with some focusing on student recruitment.
 
Seattle Alumni Chapter
Description:Formed in June 2001, the Seattle ~ Puget Sound Chapter is the youngest chapter in the United States.
 
Seoul Alumni Chapter
Description: The Seoul Alumni Chapter is the first alumni association to be established outside the United States. Communicating through e-mail technology aided in the formation of the chapter in 1997.

Washington DC / Baltimore Chapter
Description:This chapter is one of the oldest chapters in the Regional Chapters Program. It was founded in December 1987. It includes all of the District of Columbia, as well as suburban Maryland and northern Virginia. One of the chapter’s key accomplishments was the establishment of the George A. Leet, LAW ’46 Scholarship Fund for students.
